Sadly the Christmas season has come and gone in Paris, I am very sad to say. This December was a whirlwind for me, with trips all over Europe (trips that I can’t wait to share with all of you soon!) which unfortunately meant I didn’t get to spend a lot of time enjoying the magic of Paris at Christmas. However I did take a night to stroll through the Trocadero christmas market. Although I must admit the booths were a bit lacking this year, the view more than made up for it, especially on this foggy night. And, as you can see, the French put up a subtle but beautiful tribute to the recently passed Nelson Mandela.
