Had one of those amazing, “pinch me” nights the other day. My mother was visiting for the first time, and we headed to the steps of Sacre Coeur for an outdoor showing of Woody Allen’s Midnight in Paris. We curled up on a blanket on the grass with a baguette, a bottle of champagne, and some Haribo gummies, and we watched one of my favorite movies under the stars and the lights of the church. It was one of those nights where I really had to stop and say, “Is this real life?” Paris is full of moments like that.
MirandaI found your blog the other day and I have to say that I went back and read every. single. one of your posts. Your photos are just beautiful. When I read that you’re from Dallas (I’m from Fort Worth) and that you and your husband picked up and moved to Paris, I may have tried to convince my guy to do the same. We compromised on a visit someday. Until then I’ll be dreaming of macaroons and Marie Antoinette!
