Love Uncorked: A Surprise Proposal at Veuve Clicquot in Champagne, France

When you love champagne, and you love your partner so much that you want to spend the rest of your life with them, then doing your surprise proposal in Champagne, at Veuve Clicquot, is the perfect place! What an amazing day and shoot this was! I too love Champagne, both the drink and the region of France, and I love being the photographer for surprise proposals, so I really enjoyed this day. When Chris decided this is how and where he wanted to propose to Kelly, he contacted our mutual friend, who then referred him to us.

Capturing the magic. A romantic proposal amidst the vineyards of Veuve Clicquot-

They were all going on a private tour of Veuve Clicquot and our mutual friend invited me to tag along so I could create some content for our site. Little did Kelly know that she was the main subject of our content creation that day!

While we were touring the gardens and vineyards around Veuve Clicquot’s Manoir de Verzy, it seemed like the appropriate spot to offer my services for a few quick couple’s portraits. It was at that magical moment that the impromptu portrait session turned into a surprise proposal in the vineyards of Champagne! To make the day even better, the experience ended with a private tour of the champagne cellars of Veuve Clicquot and of course a tasting of their delicious champagne!
