I had a friend in town recently, so we took a tour of one of my favorite buildings in Paris, the Opera Garnier. They have a massive balcony overlooking the busy street in front. It seems I can’t go a day without running into someone I know, so the city feels so small to me, but scenes like this remind me how huge and busy it really is.
