The Roue de Paris is a massive ferris wheel that travels throughout the city of Paris during the year. Although its home is at the Place de la Concorde (where the Tuileries gardens ends and the Champs Elysees begins), you can also find the ferris wheel in the Tuileries gardens during the warm summer months. At 10 Euro a person it’s a little on the pricey side, but the views of the city you get from the top are hard to beat (see the image below for examples). The entire ride takes about 20-30 minutes, and in my opinion it’s best done at night. Each carriage can fit up to six people, but you’re never put in a carriage with people you don’t know, so couples can have privacy. If you’re looking for a romantic evening and a beautiful new perspective of Paris, stop by the Roue de Paris!
