Once your session is booked, you will be able to schedule your pre-shoot consultation call with our design team which is generally around 15 minutes. On this call you will also schedule your personal 1:1 virtual reveal session and art consultation, so you will know exactly when to expect to see your photos! We want your files to come to life, not get lost in a pile of digital files never seeing the light of day. This means we will provide you with an unparalleled experience by finding the meanings behind your most special moments, capturing them creatively and artistically, and delivering showpiece heirlooms that exude the elegance, beauty, and emotion of your trip - allowing you to relive your memories for years to come. Step 1 - Inquiry & trip planning & booking
While planning your dream trip to Paris with your loved ones, you’ve come across our work or were referred to us by friends or family. You realized that the best souvenir of all would be to hire us to capture this special trip and time in your lives to remember forever through photographs. At L’amour de Paris, we are a fully English-speaking team. Once you inquire with us, you’re immediately in the very capable hands of our dedicated office manager, Megan. She operates on US time, based just outside of Chicago, so you know your communication with us will be clearly understandable and timely. Megan will guide you through the entire booking process. She can help navigate our location guide, choose the perfect date and time slot for your photo session, and guide you to answers of other questions you may have in regards to your session.
Step 2 - Pre-session consultation call with a LDP Art Specialist
Next, you will work with one of our Art Specialists

With such a once-in-a-lifetime experience ahead, your memories deserve to be preserved in the most breathtaking way possible. During a quick phone call you will talk with one of our Art Specialists about all the exciting possibilities. Together, you will explore how you can use your portraits to create exquisite albums, stunning wall art, and more in order to plan your session with the final vision in mind. You’ll walk away feeling inspired, prepared, and ready to make the most of your session. You will also schedule the day and time for your gallery reveal so you won’t have to guess when you will get to see your images! This consultation is the perfect way to ensure your entire portrait experience is fantastique from start to finish.

Step 3 - Time for your Paris Portrait session!
You’ve made it to Paris and it’s time to have some fun together and capture this trip of a lifetime! You will either work with one of our owners & principal photographers CheyAnne or Doug, or our amazing Associate photographer Kevin. Doug and CheyAnne are American and Kevin is Irish (and has the wonderful accent as well:) so you can rest easy knowing communication during the session will be completely in English. Collectively we have over 20 years of experience as professional photographers, with the last 8 years being in Paris. We will guide you through how to pose and share some tips and tricks to enjoying your time in Paris.
Step 4 - Your images are in the hands of our Image Artist
Next, your images are sent to our Image Artist, Andrea. She’s been a part of the LDP team for the last 3 years and has worked closely with us to create the final look and aesthetic of the LDP photograph. You can rest assured that your images will look like all of the work you see on our Instagram and website. If you added enhanced retouching, Andrea is also the one that makes sure you can enjoy all the champagne and croissants in the days leading up to your shoot and still look fabulous in your images :)
Step 4 - Your images are in the hands of our Image Artist
Next, your images are sent to our Image Artist, Andrea. She’s been a part of the LDP team for the last 3 years and has worked closely with us to create the final look and aesthetic of the LDP photograph. You can rest assured that your images will look like all of the work you see on our Instagram and website. If you added enhanced retouching, Andrea is also the one that makes sure you can enjoy all the champagne and croissants in the days leading up to your shoot and still look fabulous in your images :)
Step 5 - The reveal session! Along with 1:1 guidance from our Art Specialist
This will be your first chance to see all your photos. Your gallery is presented to you online during a 1:1 virtual meeting with our Art Specialist. During the presentation, you’ll see a slideshow of your images. If you pre-ordered an heirloom album or wall art, you will see your pre-designs. If you didn’t do any pre-ordering, it’s not too late to curate your images for print! Our Art Specialist will help you design an heirloom album with your favorite images or help you choose the perfect image for your wall art, along with the proper size for your home. By the end of this reveal and design session, you will have made the decisions and purchases for all of your favorite memories from this trip and there’s no more work for you to do. Simply sit back and wait for your album or wall art to arrive, and enjoy reliving your Paris experience over and over again!
