Snowy Paris Rooftops

I’ve been dreaming of getting a photograph of snow-covered Parisian rooftops at dusk for awhile, but after January passed I thought my chance at photos in the snow were done for the year.  Much to the dismay of everyone else in Paris besides me, we had a freak snowstorm last week that blanketed the city and gave me one last chance.  These images were taken just after sunset from the rooftop terrace of the Galeries Lafayette as well as the restaurant on the roof of the Printemps Maison store.  If you’re lucky enough to be in Paris when it snows, make sure you take a moment to enjoy a quiet winter sunset from a beautiful terrace – preferably with a warm glass of mulled wine in your hand!
